Terms of service

This website
The content on this site is provided for information. It does not constitute security advice for your specific environment, and nothing here creates a client relationship. A relationship begins only when both parties sign an engagement contract.
Authorisation is mandatory
SySecurity performs security testing only against systems whose owner has authorised that testing in writing. We will ask for proof that you are able to grant that authorisation. We refuse engagements where authorisation cannot be evidenced, without exception.
Scope and reporting
Each engagement is governed by a rules-of-engagement document agreed before testing begins. It records the in-scope targets, the out-of-scope systems, the testing window and the escalation contact. Testing does not begin until it is signed by both parties.
A security assessment identifies issues discoverable within the agreed scope and window. It is not a guarantee that no other vulnerability exists.
Confidentiality
Findings belong to the client. We do not publish client names, findings, or any identifying detail without written permission. Case studies on this site are published only where that permission has been given, and are anonymised.
Liability
Our liability under any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Engagement contracts may specify a different governing law, in which case the contract prevails.
